LCDS was born in 1989 and it works in the field of non formal education and mental health,dealing with the promotion of
well-being, prevention of distress, in the health, educational and social fields with individuals and groups of different age
groups. It also deals with high-quality education for adults, proposing the dissemination of innovative techniques in both
educational/rehabilitation fields. The methodology used is the Marchio-Patti Integrated Method, a method that has obtained
scientific validation at the University of Rome La Sapienza: it integrates art, art therapy, psychological, educational and
social sciences. The association has an agreement with 4 Italian universities to train recent psychology graduates precisely
on the use of the Marchio-Patti Integrated Method in rehabilitation and wellness promotion. The association promotes
projects locally (Calabria), nationally and internationally, working in both public and private settings.
